Meet Sean Gilmartin, Kayleigh McEnany’s husband as the couple are expecting their third child in June.
Sean Gilmartin, former MLB pitcher who played for the New York Mets, Atlanta Braves and The Tampa Bay Rays married McEnany in 2017 – the pair is expecting their 3rd child together.
Kayleigh McEnany, former White House press secretary and current co-host of Fox News’ Outnumbered, shared some joyful news during the March 17 episode of the show.
With a big smile and plenty of excitement, McEnany revealed that she and her husband, Sean Gilmartin, are expecting their third child. “Last but not least, I’ve been teasing a big announcement,” she told viewers, before happily sharing, “Sean and I are expecting our third child, which we’re so excited about.”
We’re planning a gender reveal,” McEnany shared. “The baby is due in June, and I hope you’ll join me on this exciting journey. I’ll be sharing updates live on social media and on the show, including the gender reveal right here.
McEnany and her husband, Sean Patrick Gilmartin, a retired Major League Baseball pitcher who played for teams including the New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, and Tampa Bay Rays have been married since 2017 and are already parents to five-year-old daughter Blake and two-year-old son Nash.

Who is Sean Patrick Gilmartin
Sean Patrick Gilmartin, born in August 1990 in Thousand Oaks, California, built a notable career as a professional baseball player.
A talented left-handed pitcher, he was chosen by the Atlanta Braves as the 28th overall pick in the first round of the 2011 MLB Draft.
At the time, Braves scouting director Tony DeMacio praised the selection in a statement to the Orlando Sentinel, saying, “Sean is a quality left-handed pitcher with great make-up and excellent pitchability. We think he’ll move fast through our system and we are real happy to get him.”

Throughout his professional journey, he also played for the New York Mets, the Baltimore Orioles, and later joined the Rays. Gilmartin officially stepped away from baseball during the 2021-22 off-season, as reported by The U.S. Sun.
He loves hunting and is supportive of his wife’s work

Sean Gilmartin maintains a relatively low profile online, but his Instagram account, which has more than 16,000 followers, offers a glimpse into his personal interests.
The account features images of his hunting experiences, often displaying his catches, as well as regular snapshots of his two dogs, Boomer and Lexi, who frequently accompany him.
Gilmartin and Kayleigh McEnany started dating in 2015 and tied the knot two years later. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Blake, in 2019, followed by their son Nash in 2022.
