Get ’em, Chris!
The debate is on about whether or not the WNBA is protecting Caitlin Clark, with things getting ratcheted up after players from the Connecticut Sun didn’t receive any punishment whatsoever for getting violent with the former Iowa Hawkeye.
With Clark getting pummeled in game after game, the conversation is thick right now regarding the WNBA and if they even care about protecting their biggest superstar BY FAR, or if they’re just going to let her get rolled by jealous opposition.
Last year, it was types like Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter and Dallas Wings guard DiJonai Carrington getting violent with Clark, and now we’ve got a whole new batch of players here in the 2025 campaign.
Well, tennis legend Chris Evert isn’t playing with any of the nonsense, calling out the league for their toxicity towards Clark, which features a recent scene where Connecticut Sun guard Jacy Sheldon popped Clark in the face. Immediately after, she was thrashed by Sun guard Marina Mabrey that sent her flying down to the court.
“When will these ladies realize, accept, and appreciate @CaitlinClark22 is the best thing that ever happened to women’s basketball. This is a bad look for the sport and what’s happened to sportsmanship?” tweeted Evert.

As long as Caitlin Clark stays politically correct and non-confrontational, nothing will change here … The WNBA won’t do anything.
