A prominent conservative political activist and powerful Donald Trump ally, Charlie Kirk was speaking at the Utah Valley University campus on Wednesday afternoon when he was shot in the neck in a horrific scene.
Kirk was rushed to the hospital, but President Donald Trump broke the tragic news that he had died. Terrifying footage of the sh0.oting surfaced on X/Twitter, and we warn you to use the platform with caution if you’re disturbed by extremely graphic material.
The suspected shooter is now in custody. Authorities have yet to disclose his name, but Utah Gov. Spencer Cox told reporters that it was a “political assassination”.
