In a recent interview, Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed his openness to having more children. Musk, who already has ten children, including triplets and twins, stated that there is only one factor that could prevent him from expanding his family.
In just 20 years, Tesla founder Elon Musk has become a father to 10 children with three different women.

His first child was born in 2002; his most recent was in 2021. Musk’s first marriage was to Canadian author Justine Wilson, with whom he has six children. They married in 2000 but divorced in 2008 after seven years of marriage. Musk shared custody of their five children and expressed his deep love for them.
After his divorce, Musk married and divorced actress Talulah Riley twice, but they did not have children together. Their marriages lasted from 2010 to 2012 and from 2013 to 2016.

In 2018, Musk started a relationship with singer-songwriter Grimes (Claire Boucher), and they had their first child together in 2020. Although they broke up in September 2021, they reconciled briefly and welcomed another child via surrogate in December 2021. However, they broke up again shortly after.
In November 2021, Musk had twins with Shivon Zilis, according to recently published court documents. The twins were born in Austin, Texas.
He recently expressed his openness to having more children.

In May 2023, Musk shared his thoughts on his children’s futures during an interview with The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council. He stated that he does not plan to automatically give his children shares of his companies if they are not interested or capable of managing his empire, as he believes it would be a mistake.
He states that he would stop having kids if he couldn’t be a good father anymore.

During an interview, Musk shared that while some friends jokingly suggested he has as many as 500 kids, he finds that idea a bit strange. Musk’s priority is being a good father, so he will only consider having more children if he can fulfill that role.

During the interview, Musk clarified that he is not expecting a baby in the near future. Additionally, he dismissed rumors about purchasing a fertility clinic to support his population growth ambitions.

Elon Musk is known for his commitment to being a loving and caring parent. Like many parents, he strives to provide the best for his child and shares in the joys and responsibilities of fatherhood. Musk’s dedication to his family, along with his groundbreaking achievements in the business and technology spheres, highlights his multifaceted role as both a successful innovator and a caring father.
