Although they broke up in September 2021, they reconciled briefly and welcomed another child via surrogate in December 2021. However, they broke up again shortly after.

In November 2021, Musk had twins with Shivon Zilis, according to recently published court documents. The twins were born in Austin, Texas.

He stated that he does not plan to automatically give his children shares of his companies if they are not interested or capable of managing his empire, as he believes it would be a mistake.

During an interview, Musk shared that while some friends jokingly suggested he has as many as 500 kids, he finds that idea a bit strange. Musk’s priority is being a good father, so he will only consider having more children if he can fulfill that role.
