Karoline Leavitt, the 27-year-old White House press secretary has sparked attention with her latest remark.
She is the youngest White House press secretary in history. And before she saw political success, she played softball at Saint Anselm College. She excelled off the field, making the dean’s list and honor roll as a freshman and sophomore
Leavitt recently revealed that her husband, Nicholas Riccio, who is 32 years her senior, is her biggest fan. The media has been abuzz about her low-key marriage to a man more than twice her age, with whom she welcomed a son in July. Sharing a photo of herself boarding a helicopter for work, Karoline wrote on Instagram: “Waving to my two biggest fans (husband and son) while boarding Marine One.”

The post elicited a strong reaction from fans, who flooded her Instagram page with comments, reports the Mirror US.
Some responses were sarcastic, with one user saying, “Join your Big Daddy on Marine One!” and another asking, “Can you let us taxpayers know the total cost of Trumps golf games? I mean you are so concerned about saving us $$ lol.”
However, many others praised Karoline’s confidence and integrity, with one fan writing, “Great pic! Such confidence and integrity.”
Another supporter said, “Karoline you are doing a fantastic Job . You are the best press secretary the White House has ever had in my opinion. I loved you on your first day.”

They continued, “Even if I am watching you from the big screen. Why because you are straight forward you don’t hesitate and tell it how it is. You always prepared to answer any questions specially from the left. Keep doing what you are doing the American People and the world are listening. God Bless you!”
Karoline’s husband has built his wealth through beachfront properties in Hampton Beach, which is an hour from Boston. The 59-year-old from New Hampshire, Riccio has crafted his own millionaire status with a spread of sought-after seaside plots, says Realtor.com.
He founded Riccio Enterprises LLC off the ground and nailed down 15 properties in 2005. Now, he owns nine rentable units in New Hampshire under Nautical Beach Rentals and another in West Virginia, worth an estimated cool $6 million.
But Riccio’s has another dream, which includes owning a sports team. He said to Seacoast Online: “My work in real estate has helped facilitate my dream of owning a professional sports team,” pinpointing this as a milestone he’ll hit sooner rather than later.
Before his success, Riccio was bagging groceries post-grad and took a real estate course in 1990. The ride wasn’t always smooth sailing – he opened up saying, “When I was 19 or 20, I would call my buddies to go over [to] their houses to watch a game just so I could take a shower” to the Portsmouth Herald.
Riccio found love when he crossed paths with Leavitt, culminating in their engagement in December 2023. The pair sealed their vows in a small ceremony and welcomed their son into the world on July 10.
