At a NewsNation Town Hall, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. raised concerns about 5G technology, citing studies on electromagnetic radiation (EMR) and its effects on the blood-brain barrier. He referenced research showing that even brief exposure to 1.3 GHz radiation allowed small molecules like D-mannitol to pass into the brain in rats, suggesting long-term, low-level EMR exposure might have subtle health impacts.
Kennedy also highlighted controversial studies linking high EMR exposure to tumor growth in rats. While mainstream agencies like the FDA state there’s no strong evidence connecting mobile phone use to cancer, Kennedy argues that current safety standards may ignore long-term effects and pulsed signal patterns used in 5G.
He doesn’t advocate banning phones but calls for stronger safety testing, transparency, and public awareness. His warnings challenge the push for faster technology, urging a deeper look at potential health risks we may be overlooking.
