Do they have proper dinner party etiquette?

If the cast of NBC’s “Today” is invited to a dinner party, just know not every single member is going to stick around for long.

Jenna Bush Hager, Carson Daly and the rest of the NBC’s top personalities spoke to Parade this week about the release of “TODAY Loves Food cookbook.” During their wide-ranging interviews, they were all asked to share when they’d show up to a dinner party set for 6 p.m.

Daly was pretty straightforward with his response. The host of “The Voice” revealed that he’d show up to this hypothetical dinner party at six o’clock on the dot.

Hager, the daughter of former president George W. Bush, would show up to this dinner party 15 minutes early.

“I’m there at 5:45,” Bush said. “We like to go to bed early.”

Daly confirmed that he also wouldn’t stay very long. In fact, he claims none of the “Today” crew would.

“No more than an hour. We don’t stay for more than an hour for anything. Watch all the anchors here. In one hour, we will Irish exit.”

NBC’s Dylan Dreyer made it clear she’d show up on time at 6 p.m.

Savannah Guthrie, one of the co-anchors for “Today,” would also arrive to this party on time. If anything, she’d show up just a minute early to make sure she’s got everything situated.

“Let’s say it’s called for 6…I would arrive at 5:59,” Guthrie told Parade.

NBC’s weather anchor, Al Roker, admit that he wouldn’t show up to this dinner party on time. That wouldn’t stop him from having a good time though.

“You know like 6:10. If it’s a dinner party and there are cocktails, you don’t want to be overserved early.”

According to NBC’s Craig Melvin, he’d leave this party at 6:30 p.m. Suffice to say, he won’t be there for a long time.

So outside of Roker, it sounds like the “Today” crew is more than OK with showing up to a dinner party on time. Whether or not they have proper etiquette though is a bit subjective.
