Bethenny Frankel believes Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s business endeavors have been flopping because they rushed into too many projects at once.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum didn’t hold back Wednesday as she speculated that the Sussexes’ latest ventures haven’t taken off because they have too many irons in the fire.
“They didn’t want the fame, but they didn’t want to give up the lifestyle, because it’s expensive. Now they’re living in Montecito, and it’s hard for things to land,” Frankel told Us Weekly of Markle and Prince Harry as she was hailed the outlet’s Entrepreneur of the Year.

“It’s hard to land all of those things, and they wanted to do it in a timely manner because they realized there was a certain window of opportunity, so they made all these different deals. And business is really hard,” the Skinnygirl founder, 54, continued.
“I respect that relationship and that loyalty to each other, and I just don’t think it’s that easy. If it was so easy, everybody would be good at doing it.”
Reps for Markle and Harry did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Frankel’s comments come soon after Markle and the Duke of Sussex, 40, were dealt a humiliating hand from Netflix on Monday as the couple extended their partnership with the streamer.

Last month, Markle was expected to transition from an exclusive deal to a first look with Netflix after the former agreement expired this year.
However, we’ve been told there’s not much fan fare surrounding the new agreement and Netflix’s new offer is being valued at much less than their previous “$100 million deal.”
“It’s not much,” an insider told Page Six on Monday. “It’s no risk for Netflix but saves them both reputationally.”
Markle, 44, remains in business with the streamer through her lifestyle brand, As Ever — which has also seen its fair share of snafus since its conception last April.
Originally called American Riviera Orchard, the “With Love, Meghan” star changed the name of the brand before its April 2025 launch.
