Brooke Hogan chose to skip her estranged dad Hulk Hogan’s funeral to honor the late wrestler in the “simplest way.”

Hours after news surfaced that the WWE star’s loved ones gathered for his memorial service Tuesday, Brooke revealed she spent the day at the beach with husband Steven Oleksy and their 6-month-old twins, Oliver and Molly.

“My father hated the morbidity of funerals. He didn’t want one,” she claimed in a lengthy caption.

“And although I know people grieve in many ways — and I’m so grateful for all celebrations and events organized to honor him,” she continued, “as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honor him the best and most genuine way I knew how…privately…the way that made me feel the closest to him.”

The 37-year-old noted that the “only thing missing” from her family’s beach outing was Hulk sitting in his pop-up lawn chair, “watching the waves … and the sunset.”

“Daddy, we honored you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul. We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved,” Brooke added.

She said her daughter, Molly, “loved the water” and would have earned the nickname “little fish” from Hulk.

“We love you and honor the things that made you so special,” Brooke, who has been estranged from Hulk for years, wrote.

She concluded, “Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you. I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you. Rest in heaven, Daddy❤️.”

Brooke, notably, also skipped WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” tribute last month, which she claimed she was not invited to.

Page Six obtained photos Tuesday of Hulk’s casket being carried into his memorial service at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Fla.
